Care guide.
Natural fabrics are made to be lived with. With the right care, your linen will soften, relax and become more beautiful over time.
Linen care
A simple approach to everyday care helps flax linen stay soft, breathable and beautifully relaxed over time.
Before first use
We recommend washing your linen before first use.
This helps soften the fabric and remove any natural fibres or finishing residue from production.
Washing
Machine wash on a gentle cycle in cold or lukewarm water.
Use a mild liquid detergent. Avoid bleach, optical brighteners and harsh stain removers, as these can weaken the fibres or affect the colour.
Wash similar colours together.
Drying
Line drying is best.
Linen dries quickly and benefits from natural airflow. Avoid prolonged direct harsh sunlight, especially for coloured pieces.
Tumble drying is not recommended, but if needed, use a low heat setting and remove while slightly damp.
Ironing
Linen is designed to look relaxed.
If you prefer a smoother finish, iron while slightly damp using a warm setting.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place.
Make sure your linen is completely dry before folding away.
Silk care
Silk is a delicate natural fibre and should be treated gently.
Hand wash or use a delicate cold machine cycle inside a laundry bag. Use a silk-safe detergent and avoid bleach or soaking.
Line dry in the shade. Do not tumble dry.
A note on natural fabrics
Small variations in texture, weave and colour are part of the character of natural fibres.
They are not flaws. They are what make each piece feel considered, tactile and individual.
